Kinda fresh and easy, with a darker fruit, juicer than your average Cotes du Rhone, and to me, a little bit flat because of it. But hey, why not?

Winery Visit; Saint-Damien, Gigondas, Rhône, France.: A lot of raspberries. Very fruity wine. Soft acidity, some herbs and a touch of sweetness. Very affordable daily drinker. Uncomplicated and clean wine.

Bold and vivacious. Strong notes of schist, pepper, espresso, and rust. Bracing, with a piercing precision and stalwart finish uncommon to table wine. 88-89.

- Garnet color with medium forming legs and aromas of horsey and mushroom. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of blackberry and black pepper with a medium body. Leathery texture with a medium finish.
